Emergency Response Project Nominated for Baltimore 2020 Invention of the Year

(BALTIMORE, MARYLAND) Earlier this year, Bellese entered into an ongoing partnership with Code for Baltimore and the Baltimore City Health Department. Code for Baltimore is a local Brigade that is part of the larger Code for America organization. Today, we’re thrilled to hear that what we have built has been nominated for Technical.ly Baltimore’s 2020 Invention of the Year.

About the Project

Together through this partnership, we created two programs. The first is Bmore Responsive, which is a back-end API that powers the application. The second is Healthcare Roll Call, which is the front-end client to use the Bmore Responsive API. Healthcare Roll Call and Bmore Responsive together make up an open source customer relationship management (CRM) platform specifically designed to assist with crisis and emergency management. You can read more about Healthcare Roll Call and Bmore Responsive in Technical.ly’s article *Code for Baltimore’s keys for taking a civic tech tool from idea to innovation* and see the other nominations on their website.

How to Vote

Voting is open to the public. There are several categories including Invention of the Year. We would really appreciate your support by voting for Healthcare Roll Call and Bmore responsive. You can cast your vote using this form. The code for both Healthcare Roll Call (front-end) and Bmore Responsive (back-end) is open source and available on Github:
